Well folks, the great odyssey to the West begins today. Of course I start this journey by traveling east and then north, but who is counting? Today I go Atlanta to Fayetteville, NC. Tomorrow finish the trip up to DC. Saturday to Cambridge, MD, for Eagleman. Sunday out to New Jersey, then Monday or (more likely) Tuesday I start pushing westward to Chicago and then across to Missoula.
The Jeep is loaded to the gills right now. Dixie would be giving me a look that says, "You want me to ride in there?! With all of that?!" Would be... except that she's passed out under the bed right now. What else is new. Still, I'm sure she's equally excited for our great adventure.
Well, as they say in Boondock Saints: "I'll catch you on the flip side!"
